Project Description:

The product is a measuring system for qualifying air. Hardware design is finished already. The hardware consists of 4 submodules with a own microcontroller ATXMEGA 256. The submodules are wired with a RS 485 Bus. Software platform is RTOS and development is done with Codevision C-Compiler. Debugging is done with the ATMEL JTAG Interface.

The first submodule is measuring Watersteam (Dewpoint) and pressure. Hardware is finalized.
The second Module is measuring Hydrocarbons. The Hardware is finalized.
The third Module is measuring Gas Concentrations: CO, CO2, SO2,NOx, pressure and flow., Hardware is nearly finalized.
The fourth Module is the control master with display interface, relay contacts, analogue output, Data output.
Most emergent aim is to program everything as a framework with high reuseability for other measurement projects.

Some Software is ready and the system works in parts.

We search a very experianced developer, that has good knowledge about RTOS and ATMEL XMEGA and can assist our own developer here as we are behind the schedule and had to supply the system in near future to our customer. Experiance is needed about XMEGA Controllers and also much project experiance (=how to manage such a large project). Persons from abroad are welcome, but the job must be done mainly here in Germany. Therefore not to get trouble with German laws the Freelancer must have its own company in his state. Flight and flat is paid by our company. Estimated finalizing time is 4-8 weeks and the job can be started in early January.
Project documentation can be supplied in advance to get a good overview about the project.
References about skills and experiance are needed from the bidder.
