Palm 700p calendar files to blackberry

I have been using a palm treo 700p for the past several years. Actually, it has calendar entries dating back to the year 2000.I want them them transferred to my new blackberry 9930. Blackberry said it can't be done but I want it done.
I guess I need my calendar files converted to a format that can be uploaded to be synched to my new blackberry.
