Project Description:

There is an application in iTunes called "RiderLog". Basically this app allows users to 'log' a ride every time a cyclist rides his or her bike into work. Trips are aggregated and stored in a database remotely so that rider groups can determine which bike paths are most commonly used. I want to have all the functionality of RiderLog, as well as the following features:

1. Users create an account and unique ID
2. As part of account sign-up, users enter their suburb, and the form of public transport they take if they do NOT ride their bike in to a work.
3. A simple algorithm calculates how much it costs per day if the rider does not ride into work. (e.g. If the user selects "train zone 1 - Melbourne"- a daily cost of $7.50 will apply. This
4. Each time a user rides into work, he/she records the ride and it gets logged on their profile (as per RiderLog).
5. A weekly/monthly/yearly scoreboard keeps track of cyclists who save the most money by not using public transport.
6. Users can create groups e.g. "Company XYZ cyclists"
7. Scoreboards can be at a group level.
8. Prizes are awarded to cyclists who win the monthly and yearly competitions for saving the most money.
9. Each week/month/year, users can alert facebook/twitter followers in relation to how much money they saved that period.
10. A separate page will list the prizes on offer as well as sponsors etc.

Ladies and Gentleman, please find attached a document which outlines the required functionality. I have purposely NOT called this a wireframe, because obviously the layout and design will change. This document should be used as a guide as to what will be required in version 1 of this app.
