Artwork and Animations needed for a Mobile Game

Project Description:
Hi!My name is Daniel and I run an independent, mobile games development company and we are currently looking for an Artist to work on an upcoming game. This job will involve the conceptualisation and creation of all of the artwork in the game and will require an artist with a wide range of skills.
The game itself is 2D and will require all of the artwork to be sprite based including the various animation frames needed. It is a fairly simple game and assets will be reused through the various levels so the level of work would suit a single person or maybe a team of two. There is not a strict deadline on the work but we will expect everything to be completed in sync with the rest of the project (audio, programming etc.).
The artwork will need to be of a cartoony nature, very simple and appealing. A good reference would be the following titles... (iconic characters with broad appeal)
- Little Big Planet
- Angry Birds
- Super Meat Boy
We have a lot more details to give you when/if your bid is accepted!
You are bidding on what could be an initial contract for work and if we get on and like what you do there is a very good chance that more work will be available with the possibility of a share in the games profits.
This project would be perfect for a student / graduate in art to build on their portfolio as you will be fully credited for your work and you will get paid! So don't be afraid, send us examples of your work, links to your portfolios and hopefully we can start a great business relationship that results in lots of cool games!

I have been working professionally since 1997 with publishing, advertising and animation companies in Spain, Italy and UK. I´m based now in London.
I´ve recently worked with Ogilvy interactive (iPad picture books), Helbling Languages, UNICEF, McSaatchi and Spot Post Animation, developing illustrations, animations, storyboards, character design and props.
You can also find my portfolio on my website and I am sending you some related samples. Although I don't have a huge amount of samples, I have done some characters and backgrounds, icons, for games online.
Here is my bid detailed:
- Conceptualisation and creation of all of the artwork in the game. That would include:
- A home or main general page, illustrated, with characters, title, background.
- Choosing typography and color palette.
- Up to 10 icons/simple graphics.
- Up to 4 illustrated screens, full color and detailed.
- Up to 5 characters, 5 poses each one, created in layers so the animator can use arms, legs, etc.. independently.
- Delivered in photoshop psd or ai.
I could start this work within 10 days.
