Project Description:

Thanks for checking into our project. My name is Andrew and I am the owner of a small Christian t-shirt company that will be launching in 7/7/2013 We are looking for talented and creative illustrators to help us bring our t-shirt concepts to life. As you can probably tell, we are a Bold, LOUD, Obnoxious, Edgy Company that just wants to share our Christian faith with others in our own creative way and work with someone with the same energy that shows in their work.
We have our own design ideas but I need the talent to create them, we knew we needed to outsource them.

We have a total of 10-12 designs that we want to start working on as soon as possible. To be sure that the designer understands our vision and our experience goes well with them, we will begin with the first concept that will be the signature shirt of the clothing line and the Logo,

Once this has successfully been created to our satisfaction, we will then consider that designer to help us with the other designs as well as future projects for our company. We do require a contract that states, once the design work has been completed to our satisfaction and paid for, all design work rights are given to our company and will in no way be used by the designer (with the exception of showing them as sample work for future clients).

This is the description of the shirt that I would like to get designed.

I had in mind was something kind of cartoonish, something a cool & hip something a17 year kid wouldn’t mind wearing as a t shirt while riding his skate board...

I was thinking of a half circle crown of thorns, a brown one with some drops of bloods coming down, nothing to dramatic but something that

Shows “I’m not afraid to show what I believe in"

and directly beneath the crown of thorns a Neon colored cross.

Catching the eye is the point. More of a middle aged theme but brought to modern age with the neon colors...I’m not sure this make any sense to you. But I hope you can catch the picture I have in my head.

The message I’m trying to get across to people to people is simple….. BE BOLD.

Being a young Cristian I’ve realized that you have to hide your faith now in days to be accepted to society, you can’t proclaim your beliefs with ought being afraid of being shunned out at school at work or even face book.

People that have gone out and tried to somewhat be open with our beliefs have been trained to be SUBTLE about it.

You know “safe” with the message they want to get across.

But I say lets shove it down people’s throat, make it a point to make them uncomfortable make the people who don’t want to hear about Christ squirm!

Make it a point to have people look at the symbol you are wearing on that t-shirt.

Spark a interest...

I want to attract that young skateboarder, or surfer, that kid that is just starting to find himself the one searching for his own identity, high scholars and college kids, trying to be cool and fit the “mold"

and what more can captivate them and remind them who they truly are, not to fallow but to be fallowed. Make a statement, be different.

Symbols & verses in the bible that speaks on boldness, I want to use a bunch of neon’s and crazy patters, just very LOUD and obnoxious.

As far the logo I will add a bible story at the end of this description, please read it.

It pretty much motivated me to begin this whole process. It exemplifies everything that I want to do everything this whole project means, everything that is all about.

it’s a story about 3 young men who stood up and decided to be different, and because of it they faced death, but God liberated them. They were thrown into a furnace of fire to burn but God sent a Angel to protect them, and when the King sent a servant to check if they were dead, the servant astonished told the King that they where no longer 3 in there that he saw 4. The fourth was a Angel protecting them
