Project Description:
Brief & Job specification FPSA web presence development consultant
1. Aims & Objectives:
Evaluate (3) and revise current web presence to better meeting the aims of FPSA viz;
Develop a range of tools, products and links to targeted groups of staff in CAMHs Services (aim for Tier 4 but not exclude Tier 3, others will be considered individually).
FPSA Website raise awareness via virtual marketing (search engine finds et al), hits (and analysis & recommendations to improve both), interactivity and engagement with FPSA users.
Build quality dataset of relevant training with feeds for ongoing updates and feed into updates to web site information and feeds (e.g. RSS).
Develop a virtual learning set online learning communities like Brainshark and Netvibes.
Build quality dataset of other relevant info within scope of FPSA organisational aims.
Improve applications for funding across the spectrum of FPSA aims and activity (linked to Key Performance indicator (1).
Develop, implement, demonstrate improved interactivity between target audience and FPSA through contributions of needs and acting on user needs.
2. Tasks:
Source relevant information (to a specification agreed between FPSA and developer) to;
Update website in real time with developments agreed above with FPSA web master and FPSA Admin support.
Improve accessibility of material through web site.
Improve visibility of material through web site.
Improve visibility of web site through search engines and other links/marketing.
Evolve means of evaluating the impact and effectiveness of these changes (to become a Key performance Indicator (2).
Marketing the website.
Improve the links and connectivity (guided by committee).
Establish permissions and use of copyright and non-copyright materials to form part of a rich repository of information, tools etc in addition to FPSA owned material (Journal, Briefing papers, other intellectual content funded by FPSA).
Consider and evaluate development of dynamic content e.g. Rolling news updates and what we want on there, feeds et al.
Research and propose further potential innovative website developments.
3. Timeframe:

Improvement in web presence content (2).
Availability of enhancements to web presence (2).
4. Fees:
25 hours per month, £200 (circa). Negotiable. 6 months.
