Project Description:
I am looking for an affiliate marketer who wants to work with a seasoned experienced organic SEO expert on various projects. I would be willing to handle all of the SEO aspects of the projects while the affiliate marketer takes care of the other areas. I am also open to fixed price and hourly. The more keywords you want me to optimize the lower the cost.
I am a professional, I have current proof of abilities, and I am willing to consider doing the work up front and then getting paid when the sales start to come in only if certain requirements are met. Otherwise, it's a flat fee. All I ask is to work with someone fair and very experienced because I am both.
I have the ability to get web sites, videos, articles, press releases and any other URL to the top 3 of the organic listings on page one of Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. for any keyword but especially highly competitive keywords. I have over 8years of experience.
The amount of time it takes to get in the top 3 of page one on Google etc. depends on the competitiveness of the keyword. By competitiveness I mean the Google Keyword Tool competitiveness rating in combination with an 'allinurl:keyword' search and an 'allintitle:keyword' search. Plus, I look at the number of backlinks that each of the top 5 have, what type of backlinks they are (edu, gov, etc.) and the Google PageRank of each of the top 5 organic listings on page one.
I do understand the commission only method. And I am willing to work on a commission only method if we can overcome some potential issues.
Some of the issues with commission only to think about before you contact me:
How do I prove that any additional sales came from my SEO work, I would need to have a specific email address or phone number that would take all orders. It’s a good idea in principle but difficult to track and monitor.
If the SEO professional was to do a fantastic job in driving traffic, if the web designers did a poor job or the product/service being sold was over-priced/ of a low quality, then regardless of the traffic being driven to the site, no sales may be made thus no commission.
It's not just about driving traffic. Traffic without conversion doesn't hold any value and conversion depends on activities other than SEO.
Another thing to think about when discussing a commission only position is commission on what? Hits/clicks, sessions, visitors, unique visitors, or referrals from anywhere. (who determines this and how?)
SEO in reality is only 1/2 of the way to sales conversion.
Search engine optimization/awareness means getting near the top or at the top.
Interest equals a click through to the site based on an attractive listing. Ultimately an SEO consultant’s responsibility ends here.
Motivating a visitor to consider buying and creating that desire to buy, relies completely on site content and the owners knowledge of his market's needs -- and I assume the company has created this and know exactly what his internet markets want?
Inducing an increase in eyes to the site should create more sales consistent with any other marketing media, but if you create say:
1 million new "targeted" visitors to the site a month and no buys -- where does the problem lie, with your SEO abilities or...?
