Project Description:
We need a full service web firm in the United States to design our website and complete necessary front and back end programming for a website built on the premium version of phppennyauction software.
There are some minor tweaks that need to be made such as linking pages, to links, and fixing a few minor front end things. But the priority and main work is as follows:
We need a backend option for all auctions that allows separate timers. Currently there is one timer for all auctions setup at 20 seconds. We want the option of changing timers (in seconds) based on price. So if the price is $20.00 as an example the timer is set at 20 seconds, and once it reaches $25.00 the timer will be changed to 15 seconds, and if it reaches $30.00 the timer will go to 8 seconds. So we need to be able to choose the price at which each timer will change and when it changes so will our icon which says 20-second timer, 15-second timer, or 8-second timer. Important thing to remember, once the time remaining reaches 15 seconds is when the timer adds on the appropriate amount of seconds chosen by above.
We also want something similar to beezid.coms sniper feature. It allows people to choose a time to release a certain amount of bids, that puts them in the number one spot until someone else bids, or releases their sniper.
We also need our payment gateway setup which we have the key and it's already available in the backend, so it wont be very difficult.
We also need some minor changes for the rest of the website. All simple things.
One other thing we need is to speed up all the interactions from website to server response time. We have a dedicated server, so we need our website software tuned up to use shortcuts, or directly interact with the server, whatever can be done to make all user interactions very quick.
As far as design, there will be minor changes, but we need someone to make a master css, as the company we were working with used one change per page instead of having a master list which makes it difficult to change things on all pages at the same time. Very ridiculous.
Would your company be able to do what is listed above with the proper research and with more details? If so how much, and what would be the time line?
Respectfully,
Jonathan Feliciano
