I have modified your design. 1. The main logo in orange is a full lion without roaring face. 2. Bottom design is different from the main logo. It is simple and stylish. 3. It is same with the 2nd one but has no ears.

Wow ! Thats perfect. Thats how we wanted. You did well. I am not graphics designer but I would still like to say if you can make his mouth more proper. I mean he still sounds like angry. Not as much as before when he was roaring but still he looks little angry. We would give 5 starts to your design if you can manage to make it look calm.
