American West Solar Fest

About

American West Solar West (AWSW) is a conference and expo that focuses on the solar markets in the Mountain States of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Nevada and the Pacific States of Washington, Oregon, California, Alaska, and Hawaii.

AWSW is a new take on solar conferences. This gathering, in addition to bringing together stakeholders in the solar industry, it will be an experience that allows attendees to celebrate the food, heritage and traditions of the American West.

Exhibition

The exhibition will be organized by state, so attendees can get a sense of how each is contributing to the success of the solar industry. All sectors of the industry will be represented in the hall from solar installers, grid storage, smart home, commercial and utility scale solar.

Pitch Competition

Companies will be invited to pitch to investors in a shark tank style event, to get their projects funded.

Career Fair

Jobs seekers and employers can meet at the Solar Career Fair. There will be no cost for employers or attendees to participate.

Matchmaking

A large room will be available where companies can meet to discuss working together. An event app will facilitate connecting easily with attendees who are on site.

Receptions

Several receptions will be held throughout the event. Food, entertainment and music will celebrate the past and present traditions of the American west.

VIP Room

A special room will be provided for speakers and VIP guests to relax and connect with each other. The room will have coffee, juice and snacks.

Conference

This gathering will feature thirteen different tracks, each one will be focused on a different state and area of the solar market.

Breakfast and Lunch

Breakfast and Lunch will be provided to all attendees who purchase a meal ticket. The food will be traditional western dishes.

Closing Reception and Awards Show

Thirteen awards will be given out, one to a solar trailblazer from each American western state.

For the Kids

Themed activities will be provided for the young ones to keep entertained.

Art Show

Local artists will be invited to show off their art work

Film

Local and national filmmakers will be invited to show off their works
