I need 2D art work that has nice shading and textures.
*** This is for a game that is set in an underwater scene. ***
Create the following obstacles that must be avoided in our side-scrolling game:
- at least 5 underwater rock formations
- at least 5 underwater Vegetation obstacles
(If you win - you must supply 3 frames of simple 2D animation for each vegetation obstacle.) -
Nothing fancy, just a little movement of the plant life to make the game look nicer.
- create one background texture that looks like a side view of an underwater cave that you are traveling through.
All of these will be used as obstacles in our underwater 2D side-scroller game. All entries must be original art. The winner must supple the final image as an adobe illustrator file.
Thank you. And also know that I would rather choose a winner in the first few days of this contest if at all possible.
I added a screen capture of a rock collection that we really liked for another above ground game. Just put this up to show a style example of how sprit sheets of rocks and boulders could work for us in this game. Note: this is a great style of rocks and boulders, but wrong color and no algie and such as you might find on underwater cave rocks. But I thought the example might help you to help us.

Remember that I want the plants and rocks to work as obstacles to be avoided. Plants should look like they are able to ensnare and entangle you and not let you through. Rock are obstacles to get around so that you do not crash into them. Rocks/boulder should have a height value of about 1/3 of the height of the screen. The rocks width will not be as great as their height. THANKS!
