In the header (for all pages) we would like the following…
• Logo

In the Top Navigation we would like the following 6 buttons and room to add more.
• About
• Contact

• Upcoming Drives
• Praise
• FAQ
In the main or middle section of the home page we would like the following 4 sections that would link to their own corresponding pages.
• Who are we?
• The importance of Water Storage?
• What do I need?
• How do I order?
In the footer we would like the following items
• Social Media Icons; Facebook for now.
• Phone number and email address
• Rotating Testimonial feed
SPECIFICATIONS for the website:
• Ability to extend website as needed
• Fair amount of white space
• Easily convertible to WordPress
About our organization
Our Mission Statement
“To help communities prepare for emergencies by providing water storage solutions at an affordable price.”
What we do:
We primarily sell 55 gallon water barrels, pumps and wrenches at a reduced rate for emergency preparedness prior to a disaster where the water supply could be compromised for an extended period.
Website Design Needs to Communicate the following…
• That we are a reputable company
• Design should appeal to individuals who are head of household in the 30-55 age bracket living the US.
• That we have quality products
• That we are easy to contact
• That we provide high quality service to our customers
What we are looking for in a freelancer/Designer
• must have positive reviews
• if you can code and build the website design it would be considered a plus, but it is not a requirement for this contest
• must be an original design, do not copy other websites
• creative - offer new and unique ideas using the latest trends in web design
• quick turnaround
• easily translatable into a responsive design
• Clean design (and coding)
• This contest is also an interview to determine the possibility of building out the new website.
Images
Attached are some sample images we pulled from istock that we like as well as some photos we took ourselves from a recent water barrel drive. Feel free to use these or other images you feel will work when creating your design. However, the pictures should make sense and be appropriate. Additionally attached are several versions of our logo for you to use and incorporate into your design.
Support
We want to be involved in the design as much as possible and want you to be successful as well. Please ask questions and we will respond accordingly. We will also rate your submissions and give feedback to every entry. Remember, if we like your design and feel you are qualified we will also hire you to build our website.
