  Im guessing you would like a futuristic style like cyberpunk or ghost in the shell right? or more retro like bioshock? I think its called steampunk

  For the component cards, think of them like puzzle pieces. The players will be able to lay them out next to each other to 'build' there mech. This also means that the component piece might work better with a white or uniform background so they match up better

     Hey Max. I'm running the competition because there's a lot of potential styles that could suit the cards. Hopefully $50USD is enough of a reward for three concept images. I'll negotiate with the winner for the value of the next project to do the whole game. That'll be the opportunity to make more money.
