I’m seeking a skilled website designer to enhance my online store on WooCommerce. This project is focused on specific improvements that aim to provide my customers with a simplified and efficient shopping experience. Here are the changes I require:
1. Need to get the product selection working properly so that if a person selects a base product plus some additional options, the price calculates correctly, and everything is properly added to the basket for checkout.
2. Need to set up the payment section.
3. Need to set up shipping options to be able to include shipping costs.
4. Add to the website to show the prices in other currencies? For example, can a person select their preferred currency to view prices in?
5. Need to set up the mobile version of the website.
6. Check how the email confirmation they receive upon purchase looks like.
7. Check how we receive notification of the order.
8. When is the website ready for us to do a dummy purchase to check everything works properly and the money is received? (We will need to decrease some of the prices temporarily to test).
9. Add Google Analytics.
10. Make a couple of other minor changes.
11. Any other suggestions you might have.
- **Layout Overhaul**:
- Implement a streamlined checkout process that minimizes steps and reduces cart abandonment.
- **Product Discovery**:
- Add new product categories to help customers find items quicker.
- Upgrade the search functionality, making it more intuitive and user-friendly.
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Proficiency in WooCommerce operations and customization.
- Strong background in UX/UI for creating user-friendly navigation layouts.
- Prior work on e-commerce sites with demonstrated ability to simplify checkout processes.
- Knowledge of current web design trends ensuring a modern and responsive design.
