This brief is to design a logo for a property development company called Maxton Property Group.
ABOUT THE BUSINESS
- What do we do: we manage the development process including land purchase, design, construction and selling or renting of the newly developed houses
- We want to be known for: being thorough, seamless/easy to deal with, our attention to detail and achieving profitable outcomes for our clients
- Who are we targeting: Two groups (1) mum and dad investors, and (2) high net worth individual investors
- Why they should choose us: because they want to create wealth and we can help them achieve that, use our expertise where they might not have any in this area, and have an easy interaction
- In 5 years time we hope to: be running multiple projects per year, be one of the top property developers nationally
THE BRIEF
- the logo must be clean, simple, sophisticated and minimal
- the design must not be loud, bright, busy or cluttered
- the design should promote the following words: professional, friendly, timely, competitive, ambitious, clever, enthusiastic, creative, knowledgeable, informed and skilled
- where will this logo appear/ how will it be used: this logo must work well both online (through website and social media) and offline through promotional materials, large promotional outdoor signs up on property fences
- colours to consider:
- ideally I'd like to see the name MAXTON (open to upper/lower case options) with 'Property' or 'Property Group' underneath. But I'm open to suggestions or even having 'Maxton' on its own.
- Open to multiple versions for the different uses as necessary (ie. a simpler/smaller version for social etc)

The logo doesn't necessarily have to have houses/homes in the logo. I'd like to see a cutting edge logo , using either just MAXTON and then some with the words MAXTON PROPERTY and or MAXTON PROPERTY GROUP. A real mix would be good. Thanks everyone
