I have 3 lists of companies with different data in each list. Column headers like Name, Address, Website, Revenue, etc. The lists come different online sources, like https://www.businessforhome.org/2021/02/the-500-largest-direct-sales-companies-in-the-world-2021/ https://www.dsa.org/forms/CompanyFormPublicMembers/search?action=find and From LaConte consulting: https://laconteconsulting.com/mlm-direct-sales-global-list/.
The project is to combine these 3 lists into one that I can update daily and use.
I have already started the process of getting a unique name to match but am thinking it might be better to manually pick a unique number ID, since the lists have company names that are similar but not exact. I don't want to lose any of the data, so merging some of it will be necessary.
I'm mostly using Google Sheets and will share my file with you, but you can use anything you think will work, like Excel, SQL, Filemaker, etc.
I'm doing this more and more so it would be good to have a program written or a script made to do this process again.

The hole Interface will be in MS Access and the only think that you will have to do is to Link the CSV files. then the rest will be done automatically. if you have 3 new csv files, then you delete the old ones and you link the new ones.

Now to be able to merge the three files into one and not loose any record we have to create a mapping table that has all the fields (columns) of every file. File DSAorgList.csv has the most fields (columns). So every view (query to the initial file) will have the same columns. Now with another query (a UNION query) we will be able to UNION the three different VIEWS into one table.

My Idea of doing it is by using MS Access. Through MS Access I link the 3 csv files and then I create 3 view queries that add a unique ID to every row of each file. For instance each record (line) of the DSA.orgList.csv file will have the unique ID D_1, D_2, ... etc. The BFH2001List.csv file will have the unique id B_1, B_2,... etc.
