I need to redesign/update a company logo.
The current logo (attached) is too simple and too 1980's. The company is a small consulting company, so I'm looking for something that has a fresh, professional look.
The company name is Arctan Services. An arctan is a mathematical term, which can be represented by the shape in the current logo. Feel free to either incorporate the shape, or do something totally different.
Primary use for the logo will be on a letterhead - for invoices etc.

(1)A and S somehow incorporated in the logo that stands A for 'Arctan' and S for 'Services' (2)An arctan has crossed a point to make the logo meaningful.(3)The logo with modern consulting and mathematical feel.
