TITLE EDIT - THIS IS ACTUALLY THE 3RD RUN - SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION
My name is Adrian and I am an entrepreneur trying to create a new Trading Card Game of Robotic Monsters! I dont know if any of you remember the popular tv show Medabots but what Im coming out with is very similar to that. You may want to do a google search to see the anime so you can get an idea as to what I am shooting for. Of course, the story-line, gameplay, etc will all be very different but thats just to give you a brief idea on the characters/monsters I will need for my project.
I am going to need at least 100 robotic monsters to begin. The reason I am posting this project on freelancer is because I want actual artists like yourselves to have a chance to put your work into my game. Also I would like several of you to all have a chance therefore I am going to be creating this contest 100 times! This will avoid from just having one artist doing all of my our work and will give me a chance to see all of your talent!
All contest winners will be saved in my contact list for future reference as well for whenever I want to expand my lineup.

Now for the contest!...
For every contest I will draw a very simple, not very detailed, sketch just to give the idea of at type of robot you will be creating. I may throw in some background sketch too but the focus is on the robot itself.
Rule (1) Please create any type of robot you can come up with in your imagination.
(The only requirement is it must have electrical/lightning powers)
Rule (2) Do not just draw the robot standing there.
(This isnt a mug-shot photo. I need the robot to be in some sort of fighting position using its powers. You want to give the card player the feeling that the robot is ready for battle!)
Rule (3) Attention is in the detail.
(If the robot has powers, please use photoshop or some sort of editor to create awesome fades, lightning effects, blurs, sparkles, etc. The image should really stand out. If the robot doesnt have powers and its just physical strength then maybe have it punching or throwing up dirt, ground, or some type of material where you can add in those details.)
Rule (4) Please dont forget the background.
(I will be placing your image directly into the card that I have framed. I will not do any editing or any additional work to the image. Your project is the final project. So please give our friends some awesome pieces of art to enjoy while they are playing the game. No one likes boring white backgrounds.)
Rule (5) Try not to veer too far from the original winners art work.
(As you know, a game should have a very fluent feel to it. )
Rule (6) Image resolution quality
(The image must be a minimum of 350 pixels per inch. The image must be 5x7 inches(vertical) but the focus of the image must be towards the upper half. Your final piece must be a .psd file.
So thats all! Please have fun with this and remember I will be running this contest 100 times with different robot designs. So if you miss out on this one please join us on the next one. Im super excited to see what you all come up with and I am looking forward to see what types of skills are out there!

As far as guaranteeing to get more entries, So far the entries in the last two contests I have held I am pretty happy with them. I actually bought out pretty much all of them in my second contest. So I yet to have any need for changing my methods. As far as hiring one person to do all of my work, I like the idea of getting many different ideas and perspectives. So I don’t want to restrict myself to one person. As far as pay goes, I am no where near a large company. I am simply a guy with an average paying job trying to invest in something I enjoy doing. So I am paying what I can afford and just hoping some artists will work with me. This is simply a hobby. If I had the money I would be more than happy to offer more. I hope I helped answer a few of your concerns. Please feel free to post any more questions. :)

dear Mark, from your last sentence I'm assured that you are not a smart and enough knowledgeable graphic designer. I'm also happy that my works are getting such a versatility that you were forced to make such a so-called mentor like comment.

Sorry about the weird numbers and stuff that were added into the description. I don’t know why that happened to me when I uploaded it. I’m going to try editing it later on today. Were you offering a job wherein - whoever wins gets a shot at doing the other 500 designs - you get your artist, your product gets its visual consistency and we get something worth giving a shot, full-throttle. 2.5 K USD and regular work - for us - is a deal worth going for...
25 bucks (if your lucky) on a one shot, unguarenteed deal - it doesn't make any sense from our point of view. I'm sorry.
I'm only putting in myself because I disrupted your contest, figure I owe you a submission. But that's the only reason I'm doing it. Without the prospect of follow on work - other than taking part in yet more unguarenteed contests for 25 bucks - well... you can see what the response rate has been for yourself. Give it a mull over.

However, just to clarify, it must be a robot. That's the main theme of my game is that everything is robots. And according to this contest it must have elctrical/lightning-type powers. Other than that, whatever you come up with is perfect! Thanks

Just an FYI in plain language: 'Maruf A.' is simply trying to scam you; the work he's posting is not his own, he's simply stealing/copy-pasting stuff from the internet [incredibly, some entries even have copywright text in them]. Please be aware. Kind regards.
