Thank you to all of you who provided great job.

As usual, it is very hard to decide when it comes to award the prize for the best,
Especially when some of you provided great work and concept, and you were really close to each other, but there can be only one winner.

Nevertheless, this contest allowed me to identify great talents for comming needs we have.

    Regards

#1 Operator load JOB composed by:
    Side A file=>(Optionally Side B)=> If no side B, Operation Mode=Single Side
    Panel configuration File
#2 System loads job, and display image, this is the principal info
#3 Operator set exposure params (Op Mode; Alignmt; Profile) Then => Expose / (or Stop)
There should be also some circular progress indicators of current activity such as:
    + Current Exposure Time
    + Total Job Time
    + Current Panel Nbr
There is also Machine Status Panel, which can be hidden, containing HW control and status info. Each Core element (General ; Head ; Motion (Old “LMC”) ; Lamp ; Camera ; Queue; Raster; Database;) have multiple info, which are grouped under foldable "buttons".
All have similar header. (always displayed, even when folded): Visual “Go/No Go” Status - short Txt status msg - Reset btn.
You’ll move some of the displayed buttons into these Machine Status Panel.

It's impossible to come up with a good and "productive" design when we don't really know what this is or how it works, it'd be great if you can share that information.

You mostly got it in your proposal. The Buttons are all those gray-faded blocks. The grouping are also correct.

The upper part, is dedicated to File handling, and know I understand your question. I'll explain the behavior. User Loads 3 Files : Side A (here named EDI top.gbr which is not a button, but looks like), then Side B (EDI bot.gbr) which is only valide/visible when "Operation Mode" is different than "Single Side", and 3rd file : Panel Setup (named "EDI Sample")

It's not very clear which elements are buttons and which ones are just titles, could you clarify?
