As you already knew, Applet is obsolete technically and browsers try to block it due to security risks. I tried so many ways, actually without accessing to Java applet source code; I think there is no cleaner and clearer approach. If we have access to applet's code, when can add setter method to make the code nicer, but as a general solution it works.
