After finishing compulsory school in 2017, I enrolled at the CSIA ( Centro Scolastico delle Industrie Artistiche - School of Artistic Industries) in Lugano, I took the exam and was admitted. At the CSIA I attended the Textile Design section, which lasted four years. At the end of these formative years, I took the exams and finally obtained my federal diploma as a textile designer. During our schooling, we learnt how to design and create different types of patterns by hand and computer. We studied the history of fashion, designers and costume. We were taught how to analyse trends in the world of fashion, how to create mood- boards related to them (and not), and how to create fashion sketches. We also practised life drawing, colour theory and how best to apply it within our various works. In addition, during the training we also attended marketing and graphics lessons, where we learnt how to work with Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign. I like to try my best to be organised, precise and professional, in fact I always try to put a lot of care into what I do.
