I'm seeking an expert to help design a culvert and gravel driveway in a floodplain for a residential project (single home access). I am currently under contract on a parcel of land in Cabarrus County North Carolina. It will need an engineered culvert and gravel driveway design to cross a creek (20 feet wide). I am seeking an experienced mechanical or FEA engineer to perform a static structural finite element analysis (FEA) on a plastic lid component made from Polycarbonate (PC-110). The goal of the analysis is to estimate the force required to cause yielding or failure when a load is applied at the center of the lid panel.
