Basic Ajax / Scriptaculous based image selector

I need a basic AJAX - based image selector that works using scriptaculous ([login to view URL]) user interface. I prefer the [login to view URL] option for when the image disappears and [login to view URL] for when the image next appears. There will be a series of images, 1 - 6. They will be roughly 150 x 150px. The display of these images will be controlled with left-right javascript slider, similar to ones on display here: [login to view URL] This will be used for a weather application. So upon release of the slider control the image will return a value of 1 - 6 to the database. Database development is not needed, however.
