Collect attendance information from biometric connected to client using ASP.NET

I need a piece of code that can collect attendance for the given date from biometric machine connected to client computer. Assume that there will be unique employee IDs associated with each employee. Our application is developed in ASP.NET using C#.NET and hosted with hosting company. We need to be able to gather data from biometric machine that is connected on LAN where client machine is. We need the solution that will work in ASP.NET using C#.NET environment. We will need the source code.
