* This will be a CMS site. * Should be developed in dotnet technologies like dotnet framework 4.0, sql server 2008 , asp.net ,C#.net,vs2010 * Data access layer (DAC) should use LINQ to deal with database and capable enough to Adopt new changes quickly if occurs in future. * The site will have two sections one is 1) Knowledge section (also called book section - Topic wise (like C, C++, Java etc.) - Company wise (like Google, Microsoft etc.) 2) Forum Section - Central Forum - Topic wise and company wise forum * There should be a place to add Adsense in the site. * Site should contain a rotating banner in home and should be editable in future easily like changing banner, links on the banner etc. * Rss feed facility, Blog section, Newsletter page, Contact us page, About us, Faq, How to use * Good number of Admin API to edit ,update and delete all above Page contents. * Good site navigation to move forward or backward in the site. * Both knowledge section and Forum should be easily noticeable even though visitor coming first time to the website and should be like self-describable. (Core part of the site) * Topic wise list , company wise list and forum all will be having their own separate area in Webpage. Book Section * Topic section can be searched based on topic like: C++, Data-Structure, and Java etc. * Company section can be searched based on company like: Microsoft, Google etc. * Modification in book section by admin only * Admin can Add/Delete/edit topics and company name as many time as he wants. * Admin can add/edit/delete the question and its answer based topic as well as company. * The company name and topic name will be unique. * Common image for all topics and different common image for all company. * There should be a way to move question from forum section to book section by the admin and should editable by admin. * user can post the code by using curly brace as happens in www.careercup.com. Forum section * The forum section will be like the front page of [login to view URL] and it will expose an API for the user to enter the questions, with topic or company details. * There should be an API which will be able to insert the whole interview questions in one go. * There should be a good question / recommend it to other button which will be telling how Good the new question is. This will help the admin to add this question to the main book Database. * There should be best answer button which will be shown at the top when the question is Opened. * Users can modify in the forum section only but their modification should be bot proof by a CAPTCHA. * In the central forum section the posts can be listed based on topic or company. * Preventing it from crawling (you try to crawl CareerCup using wget you will get a junk kind of dump which is useless.). * In the topic wise forum section the posts can be listed based on topic. * In the company wise forum section the posts can be listed based on company. * There will be login facility available using OpenID allows you to use an existing account to sign in to my websites. * We can have a chat wall which will be used to do discussion.
