This project is for an art website which tries to showcase original art work from selected artists. Website needs to be built in ASP.NET 3.5 and MSSQL 2005.
Following are the key features –
• Artist registration and Login for uploading the artwork. This interface has to be very simple and only limited functionality needs to be provided to the artist.
• Visitors will be allowed to search and view the artwork based on 4 to 5 simple search criteria.
• Visitors can remember their favorites by providing an email address. (No registration or email verification for visitors)
• Visitors can only inquire, email or place order for artwork. There is no e-commerce as payment processing and shipping is completely offline.
• Pricing of the artwork needs to be shown in different currencies using standard formulas for conversion.
• The tracking information of the visitors need to stored in database for analysis later.
Developer Considerations -
• A draft home page is attached
• This website has to be very simple, fast and easy to use because idea is to allow visitors to focus on the artwork
• Wire frames and complete requirement specification will be provided at the start of the project
• Though website is simple with minimal features we need providers who are professional, experienced and can do quality work
