Dictionary Acronym Search Project

Modify a dictionary search ASP to allow 1. Search for acronyms within database 2. Radio button option to search for Acronyms (default all) 3. Reformat results to show acronym and definition This project will modify a dictionary search ASP program to allow searchers to find only acronyms. Acronyms are identified in the term portion of a Microsoft access database record (term field) as text within parenthesis. For example, searching for ATM should find: Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) in the database. The modified program should be able to let the visitor choose if they want to search for acronyms (within parenthesis) or terms (full text). This should be in the form of two radio buttons that are located directly below the search box. The default radio button should be term (full) search. The result should show (restructure) the acronym followed by the acronym text. For example, the search results for the term “Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM)” should be: ATM – Asynchronous transfer mode. There may be multiple results for a single acronym.
