I want to create a Single ASP web page to act as prototype dashboard that displays a map of the world and displays information related to a specific country by clicking on the country. (For the purpose of the prototype I’m happy just to use EU countries). Ideally you will be experienced with Dundas Reports/Maps
I have a small single table database in SQL with 40 fields containing information on each country and need to do the following. On the web page display a map.
1. Based on information held in 3-5 yes/No Fields set the colour of a country on the map to Red, Amber, Green
i.e 4-5 Yes = Red , 2-3 Yes = Amber ,1 Yes = Green
2. When I click on a country I want the information from 5-10 other fields to appear somewhere else on the page.
As I will not be able to give you access to my database/development environment for security reasons I will provide an excel file with the records and I can provide the scripts to create the tables etc if necessary.
This is a prototype application that I want to complete ASAP. I will be available on either MSN or Google talk daily to help with any queries/questions. I’m happy to work with the chosen developer to make development of this as easy as possible and to keep things simple.
I am hoping the prototype will lead to a large piece of work in the future.
