Hi all, we require a databse building urgently for our company. We wiould prefer the databse to be built in Access because we use it at the moment. The database should consist of a few pages, the main page being a page to enter our client details. We will require this page to jhold information such as contact details etc, a full list will be provided on request. This will require information that we will want to use in a mail merge for our paperwork when necessary. The main page must have a notes section that will automatically allocate a date whenever we make a new note, this is important so we can keep track of anything that has happened. It must also keep a track of whenever we have used the mail merge function, i.e when and what was printed. As part of our business we issue one off cheques to companies and must keep a log of when the cheques where sent and cashed. For this there must be a section of the main client information page where we can enter the cheque number. There must be another general page where we can simply enter the cheque number that has been cashed, the database must find this cheque number from all the clients and log that it has been cashed and when it was cashed, this is to reduce manual time trying to find the individual client. We then charge our clients a monthly fee, this fee is generaly taken over 60 month but this may be different in some cases. With regard to keeping a track of the fee's paid we must have a main page where we can ebter the amount paid and the reference number allocated to it, the system should then automaticaly mark that client as being paid for that month and reduce the fee left to pay by that amount, i.i if the fee is £2000 paid at £50 a month, when the first payment is logged as recieved the fee left to pay will be £1950. We must be able to run reports showing, who has not cashed the cheque in time order, i.e if a cheque was sent on the 1st of Septemebr 2009 and hasnt been cashed yet it must show that cheque above one sent on the 5th September 2009. We will aslo need reports showing whop has not paid there monthly fee for that month so we can keep a track of money not paid.
