Amazon API - Visual C# - VERY small program modification - a couple lines of code

I have an existing Amazon API application that needs a very small modification. Amazon recently introduced "throttling" to their API calls, so I just need to add a 1 second delay to the calls being made by this application so that it will continue to function properly. I would prefer someone who has previously worked with the Amazon API so that we can keep this very simple and quick. This should be a very small fix, thanks!
