my Idea:
I’m trying to make the smartphone consume less power. I became
with the idea where the users can control the apps in their
smartphone by choosing the accuracy of them. I assume High
accuracy where the app will uses all the resources of localization will
consume the most power. The Loa accuracy will consume the less
power since it has access only to the GSM for localization. The
medium accuracy should be between them.
App Development:
The objective of this app is to control the access of the three
localization sensors in the smartphone which are GPS, WiFi and
GSM. Meaning, This app will control the permission of any app using
location service. Where this app can give another app permission to
use GPS with WiFi or only GPS. The app has an interface with a list
of all other apps that has been installed and acquire location service.
There should be three options in front of each app as follow:
1) High accuracy ( meaning has access to GPS, WiFi and GSM for
localization).
2) Medium accuracy ( meaning has access only to GPS for
localization).
3) Low accuracy ( meaning has access only to GSM for localization).
