Woodlands Monocle is an online newspaper founded and based in The Woodlands, Texas. We bring local event updates, exclusive interviews, breaking news, and a source of hometown pride to our community of 110,000 residents. We cover everything; whether it is a small, local business or a worldwide conglomerate. Woodlands Monocle strives to bring a personal relationship to our readers, in a world that has become impersonal. We are the voice of the people. We are Woodlands Monocle. [login to view URL] We are specifically looking to work with someone that can take a press release and rewrite it in a way that brings a level of creativity to these articles. It is very important that great communication skills are present, and is able to work over via email/freelancer Articles will be on average 350 words and upwards of 500 words. We will be paying 5$ and article and after 2 month of solid work with the team, we will consider a pay increase. We are looking for this to be a true partnership.
