Hello, I'm a mechanical engineer by trade. For the last 5 years I've worked as a product designer and a product developer in furniture industry. Mostly in home furniture. On the other hand, I've used Autodesk Inventor extensively as my primary tool in all th engineering jobs that I've held. A lot of those jobs were 2d CAD to 3d CAD conversion. I have done mold flow, stress analysis and simulation, huge assemblies for production, manufacturing files with inventors CAM plugin, and parametrically driven models.
