Blog Design

I need to get a complete blog designed/built. Want something that is easy for me to update and maintain myself. Already have the webhost, domain, etc. set up. I have looked at several templates online and there are quite a few that I like, and i think would work, however I do not want to have a template where I have to link back to whomever built it. If you have a great design already done great, I don't need one from scratch, however I am not going to want to link back to anything or anyone for credit. Ideally I would like a blog that looks like some sort of news site. Where I can post up new stories, events, pictures, etc. and people can read the post, leave comments, etc. This is going to be a community news/story blog/site. However I want to be able to approve the comments before they go live. Have interactive polls where people can vote on stuff, also have the polls archive so that previous polls can be viewed. Just want something clean & easy that I can update myself without troubles. Think of it in terms of, what would you want in a blog, and what goodies make a blog look great & work great.
