Convert ASCII to Unicode

I need to convert ASCII to unicode based on codepage from a HTML page, the function will look like this:

std::wstring ConvertAscii(const std::string& rCodePage,const std::string& rWord);

The code page will be taken from a web page and it can be any valid code page beside UTF-8 which I already parse (for example of a possible code page: windows-1255 windows-1252)

The code must work on VS6 and above and not use MFC.

(No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
