I have a KMY SMS printer and the SDK for programming it. It uses the "c" language. Store an ID string in the printer along with two phone numbers. Usage: User enters 3 pieces of information and hit the send button. The static stored text, an auto incremented transaction number and the 3 pieces of data are put together as one string and sent to the first number stored. The printer should attempt to dial the first number. If the first attempt fails, dial the second number. The printer should wait for a response. The user should have the option to print a receipt if the transaction is approved. That's it.

I'm good on c programming but I did not ever use that sdk so I need a little while to manage it Moreover I foresee some extra time to build the printer simulator in that I haven'y any printer of that type I look forward to news regards ulisse

Hi Robin, From what you explain, it should be too difficult but I have a few questions that can help me understand the project: - on what os (and compiler) the program should run on ? - do you have a reference guide or link to the SDK and API for the printer ? - do you need a nice and simple GUI ? Qt can do this ... Regards, Michael
