Hello, I have built a number of projects with the Atmel chip set, on Arduino boards and simply on their own. I have my IDE setup with a ton of extras. I've built a few 3D printers and I have some familiarity with the Marlin FW. Let me take a look and see what I can do for you. Hi, Sorry to hear you're having an issue. Before blaming the firmware, check the green wiring block on your Ramps board and see if their is any melting of the green connector. This would especially appear on the far left terminal. If it is melted then you have just lost the connection of power getting to the heated bed. This is generally caused by a flaw in the Marlin firmware that over-heats the connection when the bed and extruder are turned on to heat at the same time. If you just tell Slic3r to print, the Marlin firmware heats the bed first then the extruder. If that connection is not made the heat will not come on for the bed nor the extruder. I have fixed mine by soldering the wires directly to the Ramps board. I am only offering this as advice since it has happened to me. Unfortunately I can not help you with the firmware. Thus my advice will have to conclude here. If this works and you feel compelled to pay you can send $30 to my account. I am new to Freelancer and it would help get me going. can be done fairly easily, will need some info about what type of temp sensor you use, and a few basic stuff. I have been working on Marlin (3d printers) for quite a while (2.5 yrs).
