a guitar keyboard using the rocksmith real tone cable

I will like to be able to use my guitar as a computer to write for example emails.

(Please be aware that for this project, I might prefer people in the vicinity of Denmark for easier testing (unless maybe I travel US og Asia this summer))

This has already been made ([url removed, login to view]) but I will like to make it using the cable mentioned in the title.

The point of it is that I will help people to learn the fingerplay of a guitar doing and in a very motivated way since we all need to write emails.

I will start by citing the official description of the cable:

Since the digital conversion has already happened in the cable I hope that this can be a relatively straghtforward project but also understand that it might need some work to map the keys (please look at the attached picture for a layout)
