I consider my C++ to be the programming language with which I am most proficient. The project you have proposed would be relatively simple, more time-consuming than difficult. I have created several text-based, and graphics-based, game applications using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in C++, such as Battleship, TIc-Tac-Toe, and a handful of platformers and RPGs.
