CSS/Jquery slider & styling for a simple web prototype

A very simple web-prototype of educational nature needs to be styled in HTML5/Javascript/JQuery. It needs (a) a CSS/jQuery slider and (b) css styling to give it a nice look and feel.
Key points: 1) whatever script and css files you use - they need to be in separate files (do not put them into the existing prototype files unless absolutely necessary); 2) use comments whenever possible so it's easy to understand the code and css; 3) if you use someone else's slider we want it to be as simple as possible so it can be easily modified when needed. Do NOT add features that are not required - we prefer to add features later, if need be.
The prototype is attached (DL3 [login to view URL]). Desired functionality as well as look and feel are explained in PP presentation (pptx file).
Since it's a very small project you should be able to finish it within 1-2 days. Please don't bid if you have more than 2-3 projects underway already. This is phase 1 of the project. If you do well we may choose to extend the project to add some more features.
