Codeigniter expert needed URGENTLY to fix checkout!

Something has happened to our website whereby no customers can place their orders! When you come to the checkout page to click "Place order" it doesn't work and the link is just blank, showing a "#" some somewhere something has gone wrong. This is terrible since customers are using this order form to place orders so we need someone cunning in CodeIgniter to fix this for us TODAY.
