Connecting the Cold fusion application to the MSSQL database

At the moment the banking application was already installed with Cold fusion and mssql database in sydney and it was working fine. The domain too was fine. Now the Windows 2008 Server is shifted to Melbourne and they want the new static and domain settings to be configured. The IIS is setup and the domain is mapped to the application but the connection from the main web page to the backend is not happening.
