Academic Proofreader/Tutor

We are looking for an Academic, preferably a retired lecturer to, tutor, edit and proofread essays/dissertations in a variety of subjects.

Many of our clients do not have English as a first language. Therefore, you must have perfect English with a high standard of spelling and grammar. You must also be able to judge form and flow of essays as well as check references and sources. You will be required to make sure the appropriate number of references has been used. References also need to be up-to-date.

Our first project being offered (which is the subject of the current bid) is a 2,000 word essay on Health Psychology and Health Promotion.

This essay on the surface would seem okay but it lacks rigour and needs much greater attention to detail, especially in terms of references and up to date academic information.

The essay will be sent back to the student for them to learn how to better write and construct academic work. You will be acting as a tutor to these students.
