We need a review of invoices our vendors have charged us. In some cases, our vendors have overcharged us for items we had agreed prices on, and in some cases our vendors have been inconsistent with pricing. The goal of this project is to come up with an amount that our vendors have overcharged us. We will need specific data on what was charged to us, and how much we were overcharged.
There are two vendors in question with about 1500 invoices total spanning 15 months.
We need someone to enter data from approximately 1500 vendor invoices. Each invoice will have entered into a spread sheet:
1. Vendor name
2. Vendor invoice number
3. Item number (product) and qty
4. price charged to us for item
5. Price we agreed to pay for item (from our vendor list, prices we agreed to pay)
6. How much we overpaid based on the above information, by item, and a total by invoice.
Invoices will be sent to you via a ZIP file, as scans, or we may grant access to our system for you to review the actual scans.
We are a company with 8 locations, so in instances vendors have charged two different amounts for the same item going to 2 different locations.
The attached spreadsheet has three tabs, one with a sample of what we need, another with the agreed prices and part numbers, and a third tab to enter items that we had no agreed prices on.
For items we had no agreed prices on, we will determine if there are pricing variations and then assume that the vendor price that is the lowest is what we should have paid.
