As well as a strong work ethic my time is flexible and I am a very positive and upbeat person. Hi, I wish to apply for your project as it is in my field. Presently, I am a freelancer working in Courts, Labour Tribunals, International and National Arbitrations. My work entails transcription, either centrally recorded or tape recorded and/or from shorthand. I have been performing this kind work from 2002 since I retired. Prior to 2002 I was an executive secretary, interpreter (Sinhala/English),stenographer,word processor and performed all secretary's duties from 1962 to 2002 at the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation where I was employed. I also transcribe lawyers' legal documents such as statements of claim, objections, written submissions etc. I have only a small doubt about the accent in the recording. If it is Asian accent, I am confident I can do it to your entire satisfaction but if it is an European accent, I might find it difficult.
