My work experience has been mainly in field research, surveyand large-scale database administration. ELIMU (McGill University, Canada's research and impact evaluation base in Kenya), where have worked for three years, I started with a project that quantified socio-economic effects of community-based off-grid rural electrification on household welfare. In this project, I served as the organization's lead representative and public mediator during the project's take-off, as well as handling the meetings transcriptions. I gained experience skillfully catering to the often conflicting interests of locals and our technical. Later I coordinated another research project that positioned me as premium-contributions database manager and outreach representative in the monitoring/evaluation team's meetings with the local community and government. In all these projects I designed presentations for my office and the government offices
Both projects drove me to evolve as a leader and a skilled professional. As data Coordinator, I fostered teamwork and a consistent work ethic amongst my data entry officers. My academic background is both in information technology and paralegal and civil law education. My proven experience in developing and maintaining working partnership with larger companies gives me confidence in my ability to fit well in this job.
I trust I would be an asset to your team and look forward to discussing this exciting opportunity with you further
