Hi, I am an independent researcher. I am looking for a freelancer to help me extract data from an online directory and put it into a spreadsheet. I need this to be completed within 2 days. The website I am looking at is:\r\n\r\n[login to view URL]\r\n\r\nI require assistance to data mine a total of 230 records onto a spreadsheet. I need the information to be input into the attached spreadsheet. \r\n\r\nOnce awarded, I will brief the freelancer on specific details.\r\n\r\nSam\r\n\r\n

Hello, I have checked the [login to view URL] websites and it is really easy job. You can have the results in maximum 12 hours. I have experience in scraping big directories resulting in 500k - 2mil. records scraped. I do scrape in Java. I have my own Java classes build for this kind of work. Multiple instances can be run to retreive the data faster, for big scraping project I can set-up with proxy switching, random delays and other techniques to simulate normal browsing to not be detected as a bot and avoid IP blocked. Well for this easy project I don't need none of the features. :) So to scrape all 230 records into excel sheet would need: 1. Update my scraper for [login to view URL], this will take about 1-2 hours. 2. Wait for results, should be real fast. 30 minutes maximum. :) 3. Export to Excel, built-in function already. 10 seconds. 4. Verification of data, possible re-run if needed. maximum 1 hour. Total working time: 4 hours. I am new on Freelancer, trying to build a history. For this reason I do offer cheap services now. :) Cheers, David.
