I would like to stream line my buying system within my company.
Currently we buy between 150-300 stock items per week from between 15-20 different suppliers, we choose which supplier we will buy from generally based on price but also credit terms.
I have already part created a spread sheet that on the left hand side has my entire 'shopping list for this week and along the top has all of the supplier names. Currently each supplier has 3 cells allocated to it. The one on the left is a button where if I press x, it highlights all three cells in yellow and auto fills the selected supplier and price onto my 'shopping list'. The middle one is where that particular supplier price is loaded and the one on the right is for any notes.
1)I would like this spreadsheet to high light to me the suppliers with the cheapest price changing the colour of the writing to electric blue and bold (bear in mind we may have 3 or 4 suppliers who quote the same cheapest price). And possibly suggest which supplier I should buy from based on lowest price, longest credit terms, and minumum order (if possible) and auto fill 'the best supplier' and price onto my shopping list (by highlighting in orange maybe). This must be an over ridable function as I may choose, based on location or any other factor.
2) I would then like the spreadsheet to create tabs along the bottom which auto fill in each particular suppliers individual order. If possible I would like a button which links each sheet to my outlook so that I can e-mail each individual suppliers automatically.
3) At the top of the main page, I would like the sheet to have a date button. This date should then auto fill into each individual supplier order (in their individualised tabs along the bottom)
4) There is a tab at the bottom which basically copies the 'Shopping list' word for word, which gives me a version I can manipulate using filters for my own benefit.
5) I would like to create a summary sheet which tells me how much has been bought from which supplier and can then manipulate this data (based on my credit facility) to tell me how much I will need to pay in 1 week/ 2 week/ 3 week/ 4 weeks/ 5 weeks etc.
And also which deliveries are coming n on which dates and which orders need to be collected.
