1.) The following table shows the provincial variation of agriculture output in China in 1980. Use excel to generate a Lorenz curve showing the inequality of distribution of total agricultural output against population. Please make sure that you choose the x-axis correctly. (An excel file of the following data is available)

2.) According to one study, the top 1% of Americans owns 34% of USA's private wealth. The bottom 90% owns only 29% In another study, it is estimated that in Chinese cities, the top 10% population owns 45% of the private net wealth, while the bottom 20% has only 5%. Which situation (USA or Chinese cities) is more unequal? Plot these percentages on a graph and use the information generated to arrive at your answer.

3.) The following map shows the distribution of population (in 4 cities) in a region. compute the coordinates of the weighted mean center of the population by taking into account the different population sizes of the cities.
