Required is a person to provide customer support for an online web service.
This role would ideally suit a person who is already doing existing online activities at home or in an office and would therefore be able to responsively answer support enquiries on a casual basis.
The role requires a person who already does, or would enjoy helping customers with product enquiries. Communication is mainly online and email, but also by phone.
While the online product to be supported is not complex, it does require a person who is competent using online services and enjoys the challenge of exploring capabilities and features of such products.
In addition to be able to demonstrate a competency for using the product, online training will be provided. Access to an extensive FAQ resource is also available to assist with responding to customer inquiries.
The role requires excellent English written and verbal communication skills. No technical skills are required, however required is good analytical thinking skills to be able to understand a customer problem in order to provide answers and solutions.
The role will include managing inquiries using an online help desk ticket system. While the majority of inquiries are online, a voip phone may also be provide for phone inquiries.
Support requests, which at this stage are generally minimal, can vary from day to day up to several inquiries a day. As such this role would suit a person where they already offer customer service, or have a lifestyle or work role which would allow you could earn a supplementary income.
Based on your circumstances and experience, there is also scope to earn a trailing income from either sales opportunities that occur through customer support or from sales you pro actively initiate.
Interested persons must either have proven customer service experience or be able to demonstrate logical thinking skills, good English communication skills, and be able to provide excellent character references on request.
